Our Fees

An overview of Amara's fees to serve adoptive parents throughout the adoption process.

We do our best to minimize monetary costs to adoptive families. In fact, our services to families and children cost a great deal more than we take in through our adoption fees. Our fees are kept low, thanks to the support of generous, committed donors.

Washington State provides partial reimbursement to families who adopt children from foster care. In some cases, ongoing financial subsidies may be available until a child is age 18. And the federal government offers a significant tax credit for adoption expenses. As a result, adopting a child from foster care will cost little to nothing.
