Amara relies on the generosity and involvement of our community, just as the children we serve count on us to find them a "forever family." There are many ways to help make a difference for these children. 

• Invest in our children. Your gift helps give a child what he or she needs most: a permanent, loving family. We are eternally grateful to the many wonderful individuals, foundations and corporations that support our work. 
• Get the word out. We can use your help in educating people about the children in our community who need temporary and permanent homes. Please consider hosting an informational gathering about Amara at your home, workplace or community organization.
• Join a committee. Amara is always looking for passionate and skilled volunteers to be part of our development, finance, program and external relations committees.
• Donate supplies for infants. Amara offers free pregnancy counseling to birth parents facing an unplanned pregnancy. We often need to provide these infant supplies to new parents who need extra support to begin their lives as parents.
