PRIDE is a 27-hour training program and is a required part of the licensing process for foster and adoptive parents. The program is a valuable resource for families to learn about children in foster care and the roles foster and adoptive families have, as well as creating a supportive community for these families.

PRIDE is a 27-hour training program and is a required part of the licensing process for foster and adoptive parents. The program is a valuable resource for families to learn about children in foster care and the roles foster and adoptive families have, as well as creating a supportive community for these families. 

The Northwest Adoption Exchange maintains a list of locations and dates for the training, including the following to be held at Amara in 2010:

Friday, July 16, 2010, 9:00am - 6:00pm

Saturday, July 17, 2010, 9:00am - 6:00pm

Sunday, July 18, 2010, 9:00am - 6:00pm
